What is Sprayaway?

History
Over the past 15 years James and Cherie Waring have been treating around 20 to 80 lawns a day. Every autumn when we went treat the lawns for moss on arriving to the home we would usually explain that today was a mosskill for the lawn. Around half of the customers would then ask if we could get rid of the moss around the paths and driveways. For may reasons the lawn mosskiller could not be used.

3 years ago we where approached by a chemical manufacturer who had a mosskiller with a cleaning element for had surfaces. Because we knew there was a domestic market for the product we tested it. After some refinements we have improved on the product and we have also secured the sole domestic rights for this product.

Many of our lawn care customers have jet washers and have actually cleaned the drive with them, they still would rather some one come and just spray and walk away. Some have used professional power cleaning companies as well.

Almost all find this job takes too long or is too expensive, the area will then be left until it looks a mess or it is too dangerous to walk on before the job is repeated. With Sprayaway the area is cleaned quickly and with little cost, this allows the customer to afford repeated treatments within a year and thus keeping the area both safe and clean.

Damage
Power washing damages the grouting between paving stones or removes the sand between the blocks on block paving. This means that the job now gets bigger and will cost even more money. Just look at the professional websites for power washing companies they all offer to put the sand back or re point the grouting yes but at extra cost. With Srayaway we do not remove any of the sand nor do we harm any of the grouting.

Leaflets
Having put out countless numbers of leaflets for 15 years for lawn care we know that leaflets get customers. We have found though that the response to leaflets for Sprayaway surpasses any leaflets we have used for lawn care.

Financial security.
Repeat business is the key to any service you offer to the public. Because Srayaway is good value for money all the customers want this service again. We offer a first treatment at a price that is based on the severity of the problem. The repeat price is offered on a discount level based on the customer repeating the service.. The more often the job is repeated the easier it is to clean. The fist clean will cost us around 14% in product however repeat applications are more cost affective. A single operator will aim to turnover £300 to £400 per day.
